Terms & Conditions

Application of Terms
These terms and conditions apply to bookings made directly with INNOVA Motel, whether by phone, email, in-person, or online. The person making the booking is deemed to have the authority to act on behalf of all other travellers included in the booking and agrees to bind them to these terms and conditions.Pricing
All rates are quoted in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include Goods & Services Tax (GST). Our ABN is 67 153 970 542. Prices are subject to availability and may change without notice.

Deposit Policy
To confirm your booking, credit card details are required. The provided credit card serves as a guarantee of your reservation. The full balance will be charged on the morning of your arrival. We accept most major credit cards.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellations or amendments must be made in writing. The following charges apply:

  • Cancellations made more than 48 hours before arrival: No charge.
  • Cancellations made 24 to 48 hours before arrival: Charge equivalent to one night’s accommodation.
  • Cancellations made on the day of arrival or no-shows: Charge equivalent to 100% of the booking.
  • May races period cancellation policy: Cancellations of bookings during May Races period 29th April 2025 – 1st May 2025 within 14 days prior to arrival will attract a 100% cancellation fee.
  • No refunds are provided for non-refundable bookings or packages. Rescheduling is subject to the standard cancellation policy. Gift vouchers are non-refundable.

General Terms
These terms and conditions apply to bookings made directly via the INNOVA Motel website. They may be updated periodically and are subject to change at our discretion without notice.

Late Check-Out
Late check-outs are available upon request. Please contact reception for availability. Additional fees may apply. If the accommodation is not vacated by the specified check-out time, a late check-out fee may be charged.

Guarantee Policy
A valid credit card is required at the time of booking and must also be presented at check-in.

No Party Policy
INNOVA Motel enforces a strict no-party policy to ensure the comfort of all guests. If a party is detected, the motel reserves the right to ask all occupants to vacate the premises immediately. The registered guest will be responsible for any additional cleaning costs, damages, or repairs required.

Identification
Guests must present valid photo identification upon arrival. The booking must be under the name of the person checking in, who must also present a credit card matching the photo ID.

Security Deposit
A $100 security deposit will be held and released within 3-5 business days after check-out, subject to the room’s condition.

Child Policy
Children under the age of 12 stay free when using existing bedding.

Special Requests
We strive to accommodate special requests but cannot guarantee them.

Pet Policy
Pets are not allowed at INNOVA Motel.

Internet Access
Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the motel. However, we cannot guarantee the availability or reliability of the internet service and are not liable for any issues that arise from its use.

No-Shows and Failure to Cancel
All bookings are subject to the cancellation policy. Failure to check in on the reserved arrival date will result in a 100% penalty charge. If a guest shortens their stay or checks out early, a penalty charge will apply as per the cancellation policy.

Limitation of Liability
INNOVA Motel and its employees or agents are not responsible for any injury, damage, or loss to persons or property. We are not liable for any indirect or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of revenue, profit, or opportunity.

Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance, covering cancellation, loss of personal belongings, money, and medical expenses.

INNOVA Motel is not responsible for the content of any third-party websites linked on our website. The inclusion of links does not imply endorsement or verification of the content by INNOVA Motel.

Smoking Policy
INNOVA Motel is a 100% non-smoking venue. Evidence of smoking in the room may incur a $200 cleaning fee.

Innova Motel is committed to providing quality services to you and this policy outlines our ongoing obligations to you in respect of how we manage your Personal Information. We have adopted the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) contained in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) (the Privacy Act). The NPPs govern the way in which we collect, use, disclose, store, secure and dispose of your Personal Information. What is Personal Information and why do we collect it? Personal Information is information or an opinion that identifies an individual. Examples of Personal Information we collect include: names, addresses, email addresses, phone and facsimile numbers.
This Personal Information is obtained in many ways including by email, via our website, from media and publications, from other publicly available sources, from cookies and from third parties. We don’t guarantee website links or policy of authorised third parties.

We collect your Personal Information for the primary purpose of providing our services to you, providing information to our clients and marketing. We may also use your Personal Information for secondary purposes closely related to the primary purpose, in circumstances where you would reasonably expect such use or disclosure. You may unsubscribe from our mailing/marketing lists at any time by contacting us in writing.

When we collect Personal Information we will, where appropriate and where possible, explain to you why we are collecting the information and how we plan to use it.

Third Parties: Where reasonable and practicable to do so, we will collect your Personal Information only from you. However, in some circumstances we may be provided with information by third parties. In such a case we will take reasonable steps to ensure that you are made aware of the information provided to us by the third party.

However, most of the Personal Information is or will be stored in client files which will be kept by us for a minimum of 7 years.

Access to your Personal Information: You may access the Personal Information we hold about you and to update and/or correct it, subject to certain exceptions. If you wish to access your Personal Information, please contact us in writing.
Innova Motel will not charge any fee for your access request. In order to protect your Personal Information we may require identification from you before releasing the requested information.

Maintaining the Quality of your Personal Information: It is important to us that your Personal Information is up to date. We will take reasonable steps to make sure that your Personal Information is accurate, complete and up-to-date. If you find that the information we have is not up to date or is inaccurate, please advise us as soon as practicable so we can update our records and ensure we can continue to provide quality services to you.
